Applications of weighing technology mainly apply in checking and filling systems. In the pharmaceutical and chemical industry weighers are served for checking tablet productions, completeness of packages (e.g. missing leaflet, or tablet) and for filling chemicals, pharmaceuticals or granules by weight.
Our weighing machines are adapted to the environmental conditions e.g. weighers for pharmaceutical clean rooms or waterproof weighing machines for the food industry (IP 65, IP 67) and are constructed according to the principles of GMP and cGMP and FDA.

Check weighing of every single package: 440 and TC 8410...- Tare-Gross Checking Application:
In this application a star wheel takes the empty containers (e.g. for tablets) from a conveyor belt and transports it onto a first weighing platform. Hereon the weight of the empty bottle (tare weight) is measured and after filling (e.g. by a tablet counting machine) the weight of the filled bottle (gross weight) is measured on a second weighing platform and the net weight of the tablets can be calculated. Differences between the container weight are measured and the real net weight can be quantified. All invalid or wrong filled containers get ejected.

For the pharmaceutical and engineering industry the application for checking the completeness of the produced parts and packages is very important. In the engineering industry complex subassemblies are weighed to proof the completeness. In the pharmaceutical industry tablet cartons are weighed to guarantee, that no tablet or leaflet is missing. Our check weighers are able to weigh in very small milligram ranges, so that every defectively produced part can be identified.

Filling Applications:
- Filling of powder, granulate and similar products in small milligram ranges:
A star wheel takes the container from the conveyor belt and transports it onto a weighing platform. The weight of the container is set to zero and then the product (powder, granules, herbs or similar) is filled directly into the container by means of vibrated chute. The control of the vibrated chute has a self-learning software, that adapts the filling on the flowability of the product. Minimum quantity of filling product is less than 20mg.
Weigh filler series: S 700 special machines...- Filling of powder, granulate, pellets, lumpy bulk solids and similar products by means of a weighing scale:
A vibrated chute fills the product into a weighing scale which measures the weight. The control of the vibrated chute has a self-learning software, that adapts the filling on the flowability of the product. After correct weigh-filling, the scale opens and the product falls into containers (bottles, bags, glasses or similar). Our weigh filler can be integrated into production lines with synchronisation of the conveyor belts and systems or it can be controlled by foot switch.
